Documents required

When submitting documents in offices (civil registrar, parish office) your presence is NOT required. I do in DU is authorized to represent young couples who have signed an agreement with us. Thanks to this, all the formalities required for a civil, church or concordat wedding will be completed on your behalf in Croatia and Montenegro.

CHURCH WEDDING

  • a photocopy of a valid passport or ID
  • baptism certificate
  • confirmation certificate
  • certificate of completing a pre-marriage course
  • permission from the parish priest to enter into marriage in a different parish

FOR CONCORDAT WEDDING, IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE

  • ID with address
  • full birth certificate, issued no sooner than 3 months before the planned wedding date (90 days)
  • confirmation of marital status issued by the appropriate civil registrar no sooner than 3 months before the planned wedding date (90 days)
  • a certificate confirming that it is permitted for the person to enter into marriage abroad according to the local law

CIVIL MARRIAGE

  • photocopy of a valid passport or ID, or other identification document containing address
  • full birth certificate, issued no sooner than 3 months before the planned wedding date (90 days)
  • potwierdzenie o stanie wolnym wydane przez polski USC nie wcześniej niż 3 miesiące przed planowaną datą ślubu (90 dni)
  • a certificate confirming that it is permitted for the person to enter into marriage abroad according to the local law
